[Review Revisited] Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
After the excellent Danganronpa on PlayStation Vita (a port of a visual novel that was originally released in Japan on the PSP), I was more than ready for more!. And when Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, its sequel, was confirmed for a release in North America I anxiously waited for the chance to review it. Was it worth the wait? Did the sequel end up living up to the expectations left by the nearly perfect Danganronpa: Trigger Happy havoc? Let’s find out!
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair definitely ended up grabbing me by surprise because, while I really liked the previous game, I didn’t expect its sequel to be even better at everything that the first game did so well. The cast of characters, the writing, the setting, the premise… everything was better than the previous release in the series, and I loved every minute of it. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is still one of my favorite games on the PS Vita and I look forward to playing a new entry in the series soon!
