[Review Revisited] Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited
I’m a big fan of the Disgaea series (own all the games, have several art books, soundtracks, collector’s edition… the works. So when NIS America asked if I wanted to review Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, a new take on the PlayStation 3 classic strategy RPG that released back in 2011. Three years later, this portable release improved on everything it did right, and it added extra content on top of it!

This is a huge game that feels perfect as a portable release, with dozens of Strategy RPG goodness in a compact format. Being able to start a battle to then put the PS Vita in sleep mode so that you can continue later as soon as you have some free time is great since not having to boot up a console to then load the game to then go into the load menu to then be able to finally play is a big bonus. This is the definitive version of Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited and I’m sure you’re going to love playing it on the go thanks to this PlayStation Vita port.
