[Review Revisited] Ducktales Remastered
Ducktales Remastered is a remake of the NES classic Disney’s Ducktales (released back in 1989). I played the original game when it was released, and I was very happy when I learned that WayForward was doing a remake!

I recall when I first booted the remaster how amazed I was by the graphical overhaul, all without changing the source material’s essence. Aaand as soon as I started to play I realized how hard this game was! Seriously, it was painful to realize that I wasn’t as good as I once had been, since I had beaten the original NES game without cheats, or save points.
Another high point of the game is the soundtrack, and the Moon Theme (awesome covers available here and here) is still, to this day, one of my favorite gaming compositions! I should also mention that the game is relatively short, and can be completed in 5-6 hours under easy or normal difficulties, but there’s a lot of concept art to unlock so you’ll keep coming back to earn more and more money to purchase it.
