With Yakuza 5 on its way to PlayStation 3, it’s time we take a look back at our review for Yakuza 4. Madagasca got to Yakuza 4 more than four years ago, which is why I decided to revisit the Yakuza 4 review since it is interesting to see where the Yakuza series was four years ago to have a frame of reference to see how much Yakuza 5 has improved on the formula.

Madagasca had a lot of fun with Yakuza 4 thanks to its great graphics, huge amount of content, and solid storyline. Yakuza 4 is from a time where trophies were still not part of PlayStation 3 games, so trophy hunters do need to consider that.
