[Beyond PlayStation] Slots of Poker At Aces Casino Review
Slots of Poker at Aces Casino is a new casino-style release from Digital Game Group on Nintendo Switch. Learn more in our Slots of Poker at Aces Casino review!
In Slots of Poker, there are six different poker slot machines for you to play, each with its own theme. These are Rulers, Fantasy, Pirate, Classic, Skulls and Bones, and Magic and Monsters. When you start to play, only Rulers and Fantasy are unlocked, which makes sense since they’re both of the “three lines†variety, so they can help players get used to the rules and main gameplay mechanics before diving into the more complex slot machines that will unlock after obtaining enough points to level up.
You will start at level 1 with 25,000 casino chips and must make the most of them as you bet on each line as you try to get a good poker hand to win big. The payout for each line will depend on the type of hand you get. The order is Pair of Jacks, Two pair, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, and Royal Flush, which will pay 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, 9x, 25x, 50x, or 800x the amount you bet for that line. As you can see, getting a Royal Flush would be the best thing that could happen to your casino chip count!
Slots of Poker at Aces Casino can be controlled with either the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con – or the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller – or you can play using the console’s touchscreen to increase or decrease your bet. The game will automatically select the total number of lines to bet on for each of the poker slot machines. You can use the Max Bet button to immediately place the highest possible bet for that particular poker slot machine, press the Spin button to play again, or press and hold said button so that you can set the machine to autoplay over an over, making it spin non-stop until you cancel said order.
You will obtain experience points for every casino chip that you bet, so the bigger your bet – and the more lines you bet on – the bigger the boost to your experience points, which will bring you closer to leveling up! Winning a line so that you can get some free casino chips will be very important, since running out of casino chips is never a good thing, but leveling up will also be an important part of your gameplay cycle. As you level up, you’ll earn the right to place bigger bets, which will make it possible to level up at a faster pace, but you’ll also get some free casino chips for your pile. Level up enough, and you’ll unlock the new poker slot machines to play!
If you’re a fan of poker slot machines, then you’re going to like what Slots of Poker at the Ace Casino has to offer on Nintendo’s console. It offers a nice variety of themed video poker slot machines and no microtransactions, so you can safely dive in and enjoy the ride. Slots of Poker at Aces Casino is out now on Nintendo Switch with a $7.99 asking price.
