Orbibot from Ratalaika Games is a 3D physics-based puzzle game on PlayStation 4 in which you control an orb. Learn more about it in our Orbibot review!
Orbibot from Ratalaika Games is a 3D puzzle game on PlayStation 4 in which you control an orb. You will use this orb to activate switches, remove obstacles, open doors, control lasers, and more. There are fifteen levels to play, and each one will feature checkpoints so that when you make a mistake, you don’t end up losing a lot of your progress. Oh, and there are also some plastic cats you can collect to 100% the game.
The controls are very easy to pick up since you’ll be moving the orb with the left analog stick, moving the camera around with the right analog stick, and zooming in and out with the L1 and R1 button… and that’s it! Since this is a 3D physics-based puzzle game, you’ll need to use the left analog stick to control how fast you move around each stage so that you don’t end up falling down. Levels will have small sections connecting each area, some spiraling segments made from thin metal tubes, plastic tubes that can help you get from point A to point B, and more, so you need to make sure you don’t go flying off from the playing area.
This one is from Ratalaika Games, so of course it’s going to have a Platinum trophy for you to add to your collection. On top of that, the game is a cross-buy release, which means that if you have a PlayStation 5, you can play both versions and add two Platinum trophies to your tally in a short time! The requirements for the trophies are that you complete the first three levels in the game, push one, three, and five barrels into the void, push one, three, and five boxes from the platforms, and push one, three, and five spheres into the sky. Oh, and you should also find one and three plastic cats, so pay attention because they’re colorful, but they end up easily blending into their surroundings.
If you’re a fan of 3D physics-based puzzle games, then Orbibot is going to be a good option. It has 15 levels for you to complete, hidden cats to collect, and a Platinum trophy for trophy hunters out there. Add the fact that the game is cross-buy and that it’s available at a budget price of $4.99, and it’s an easy one to recommend.
