DRAW AND COLOR: KAWAII from RedDeerGames is a new all-ages coloring book experience on Nintendo Switch. The game offers black and white images split into five different themes so that you can review each of the cute designs and select the one you want to color. Once you select one of the themes, which includes picnic, ice cream, sushi, fast food, and vegetables, you’ll be shown the available images for each category.

Once you get started and begin to color, you’ll be able to use either the console’s touchscreen when playing in Portable or Tabletop Mode or on a Nintendo Switch Lite, or use the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con as needed. The left and right analog sticks can be used to move your tool around the screen. Once you’re ready to use it, just press the ZR button!

By pressing the X and Y buttons, you’ll open your tool wheel. From there, you can select between a brush, a spray can, a crayon, a pencil, a marker, or a paint can. The paint can is an important tool since it can be used to color a full segment of the drawing with a single color in just one click. If you make any mistakes, you can select the eraser to fix them as needed.

DRAW AND COLOR: KAWAII is available on Nintendo Switch with a $12.99 asking price. You can also check out the different DLC packs available for download for free, which will add some extra whiteboards for you to work on creating new drawings, as well as new themes that add extra images for coloring. These DLC packs include sweets, beverages, pastries, snacks, and confectionery themes so that you can extend the amount of content to enjoy.
