RedDeerGames is back with the sequel you’ve all been waiting for: AAA Clock 2! After giving us AAA Clock on Nintendo Switch, an HD clock for your Nintendo console so that you can tell the time by way of a video game, RedDeerGames is giving us the sequel we deserve. Along with a fully functional HD clock experience, we’re also getting the 2D action game Jelly&Vulca, which follows in the footsteps of the retro-style 2D action game you got to play within the AAA Clock multiverse.
For Jelly&Vulca, you’ll be controlling your character with the left analog stick or the D-Pad, jumping and double jumping with the B or ZL buttons. You can aim with the right analog stick and attack with the ZR button. If you fill up your energy bar, you can press the Y button to boost your character so that you can shoot at a much faster pace for a short period of time. When you collect some ammo for your additional weapons, you can switch to them with the X button as needed. There are 156 enemies to defeat and eight mythical runes to find for the first level, and then you can try to defeat the 165 enemies and find seven runes in the second one, so you’ll be busy with Jelly&Vulca if you want to 100% the game.
While the prequel – remember, that’s AAA Clock – had 8 DLC packs to give your digital clock a new look, the sequel AAA Clock 2 does things a bit differently while also dipping back into the sameness pool. That sameness is the free DLC for the Jelly Clock, which will give showcase your favorite Jelly character on the digital clock. On top of that, there are also five free different Color Set DLC packs – the aptly titled Color Set 1, Color Set 2, Color Set 3, Color Set 4, and Color Set 5 – so that you can choose from 15 different colors.
If you enjoyed AAA Clock, then you probably dashed towards the Nintendo eshop and bought AAA Clock 2 as soon as the game went live. You’re getting a new HD clock for you to tell time on your Nintendo Switch console, as well as a colorful 2D action game in Jelly&Vulca, which ain’t half bad! AAA Clock 2 is out on Nintendo Switch with a $9.99 asking price.
