You’ll control your character with the left analog stick as you look around with the right one. You can run by pressing the R1 or L2 button. Once you collect the crossbow, you can also attack with the R2 and Square buttons as needed so that you can defeat the creatures you’ll run into. The crossbow will also be used for solving some puzzles. There are also some collectibles for you to find, which can be missed during your first run. The good news is that the game offers a level select, so you can go back and replay the chapters on which you missed some of them.

The game is from eastasiasoft, and that means that we’re getting a Cross-Buy release and that the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions of the game will each have their own trophy list with a Platinum trophy waiting for you! The list includes 16 Bronze trophies, 15 Silver trophies, and 4 Gold trophies. Of those, 12 will unlock as you take on each of the story chapters. The rest will pop when you collect ten demon statues, collect the crossbow, upgrade it, shoot your first werewolf, and shoot down the ten gargoyles in the game.

Finding the Soul Orb is a first-person story-driven adventure through a medieval landscape that offers a linear experience. It’s of the walking sim variety with a dash of combat as you take on the werewolves and gargoyles in your journey, making the most of your crossbow to open up new paths that will bring you closer to the titular Soul Orb… or will they? Finding the Soul Orb is available as a Cross-Buy title, so your $6.99 purchase will give you access to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game at no extra cost.
