The latest entry in the Sakura Succubus series from Gamuzumi and Winged Cloud is ready to go on PlayStation. In Sakura Succubus 6, Ogasawara Hiroki finds himself in the small and chilly European country of Astoria. He was invited by Hifumi at the behest of Princess Stephania so that they could all join them at the royal palace. Princess Stephania’s initial plan was to challenge Hifumi to a karuta match after having lost to Hifumi the last time. But when she meets Hiroki, she’s quickly smitten by him.
This one is a Rated M for Mature visual novel due to the fan service and how the women in the series are actually succubus that doesn’t wear many clothes. Along with Princess Stephania – full name Princess Stephania Sofia Maria Isabella – you’ll also interact with other characters from this visual novel series: glamorous actress Yamamoto Hifumi, famous businesswoman Wakatsuki Marina, and tennis superstar Hazel Williams. How come everyone seems to fall head over heels for Hiroki?
As was the case for other entries in the Sakura Succubus franchise and for other visual novels you might have played, as you progress through the game, you’ll unlock special CGs that will be used to punctuate specific moments in the story for Sakura Succubus 6. There are 18 images in total, with some offering slight variations that change the facial expression of the girls in them as the dialogue is presented.
Trophy-wise, you know you can find a Platinum trophy in this new Sakura Succubus experience. And since it’s a Cross-Buy title, if you happen to have a PlayStation 5 console, you can work on adding two Platinum trophies to your collection since each version of the game has its own trophy list. The list includes 2 Bronze trophies, 1 Silver trophy, and 11 Gold trophies. The trophies will pop as you progress through the game and make specific choices along the way. If you want to speed up your trophy run, you can check out this Sakura Succubus 6 Trophy Guide.
By now, you know what to expect from Sakura Succubus 6 since it expands a bit on the Sakura Succubus universe while providing the required level of fan service for, well, fans of this visual novel franchise. Your $7.99 purchase will give you access to the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions of the game, and since each one has its own trophy list, you can work on two Platinum trophies.
