Pets at Work from Ratalaika Games and Nibb Games is a single-player or local co-op 2D puzzle game on PS with cats and dogs. Check our Pets at Work review!

Pets at Work from Ratalaika Games and Nibb Games is a single-player or local co-op 2D puzzle game on PlayStation with cats and dogs. A cat and a dog are at the office with their owner when they decide to roam around the area… and that’s about it! The first step on your journey will be to select a dog and a cat to play the game. The dog options include Wally, Apollo, Billy, Lila, and Business Dog. As for the cats, they are Sasha, Lino, Gigi, Judy, and Business Cat.

Once you’re ready to go, you’ll control one of the pets at a time – or play this one in local co-op. If playing on your own, you’ll move a pet around with the left analog stick or the D-Pad, making it jump with the X button. The cat will jump higher than the dog. You can switch between the dog and the cat by pressing the Triangle button. The dog can dash when you press the Square button. It can also push boxes. The cat is also faster than the dog, but this won’t make that much of a difference. It can also travel through, for which the dog is just a bit too big.

The game has a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy, and since it’s a Cross-Buy release, if you own a PlayStation 5 console, you can work on adding two more Platinum trophies to your collection because the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions of the game have separate trophy lists. Each list will have 11 Gold trophies, and the objectives to complete are entering a door, pushing a box, stacking two or more boxes, using a fan to make a pet fly, climbing a shelf with a cat, getting on an elevator, slipping into pipes, jumping on a trampoline, getting either pet on the table that has a computer on it, breaking a glass wall with a dog, and completing the game. If you want some extra help, check out this Pets at Work Trophy Guide.

Pets at Work offers a chill 2D puzzle platforming experience on PlayStation. The game can be played on your own or in local co-op so that a friend or family member can join you as you work together to complete each level. Add a Platinum trophy, and you have a budget experience that is easy to recommend at only $4.99. Oh, and it’s also a Cross-Buy title, so your purchase will give you both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions of the game at no extra cost!
