Neon-infused sequel Cubic Figures 2 from DillyFrame Games is bringing you a new set of puzzles to solve. This time around, are puzzles are house themed. The rules remain the same, so you’ll be taking on a new set of minimalist puzzles to solve as you grab the available pieces and find the right spot to place them. There are 50 puzzles in this one, which are less than the 150 in its prequel, but this is reflected in the game’s price since it’s only $0.99.
You’ll be grabbing each colorful puzzle piece by using either the left analog stick or the D-Pad, pressing the X button to grab it, and moving it to where you think it should go. Once this is done, you can press the X button to let go. Some pieces might need to be rotated with the L1 and R1 buttons before they can be placed inside the figure’s outline. And if you’re ever stuck, you can use the very handy hint function by pressing the Square button, which will let you know where each piece goes.
Trophy-wise, Cubic Figures had a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy, and that’s also the case for Cubic Figures 2. It’s a long list with 34 Bronze trophies, 15 Silver trophies, and a single Gold trophy. And yes, your math is indeed correct. To get the Platinum, you’ll have to complete all 50 levels in the game! If you want some extra tips for your trophy run, you can check out this Cubic Figures 2 Trophy Guide.
If you enjoyed the minimalist neon-infused gameplay in Cubic Figures, then getting Cubic Figures 2 is a no-brainer. This time around, you’ll be taking on 50 house-themed puzzles as you use figures of a variety of shapes and sizes to complete each image. Add a Platinum trophy for trophy hunters out there, and you have a puzzle game that is easy to recommend. Cubic Figures 2 is available on PlayStation 4 for only $0.99.
