Let’s Sing 2024 from Voxler and PLAION is ready to help you get the party started on Nintendo Switch. Having previously reviewed the very fun Let’s Sing Queen back in 2020 – as well as the just as fun Let’s Sing ABBA in 2022 – I was definitely up for checking out Let’s Sing 2024 on Nintendo Switch. Oh, and I also got to review Let’s Sing 2021 on Nintendo Switch at the end of 2020, as well as Let’s Sing 2022 in early 2022!
I already had the Let’s Sing Mic app installed on my phone and ready to go, so that would help with this review… except it didn’t. Allow me to explain. The Let’s Sing Mic app is compatible with Let’s Sing ABBA, Let’s Sing Queen, Let’s Sing 13, Let’s Sing 2021, Let’s Sing 2022, and Let’s Sing 2023. What it’s not compatible with is Let’s Sing 2024. For this one, you’ll need to download the new app to your phone, which is called Let’s Sing Companion. Once that’s been taken care of, you’ll be ready to take on what Let’s Sing 2024 has to offer. Oh, and you can also play the game with a USB microphone plugged into the Nintendo Switch dock.

What’s new for this year’s edition? Career Mode! You’ll be experiencing a journey that will allow you to take your character from its humble beginnings as a student at the musical academy to having a chance to become a musical superstar. You’ll be taking on seven chapters that chronicle your rise to fame, making this the equivalent of a Story Mode you might get to take on in other types of games. You’ll meet vocal coaches who will help you along the way and can make it easier to exploit your full potential. Just be careful because you’re not the only one who is aiming for the top!
You can also take the battle online with Let’s Sing Fest and see if your singing chops are as good as you think they are. You can join a lobby with an endless loop of songs and work hard to try and make it to the top of the leaderboard. All players around the world will be singing the same song at the same time, which makes for a different experience than the local multiplayer option for up to four players on a single Nintendo Switch.
If you’re a fan of the Let’s Sing series, then you’ve probably been waiting for this one to land on Nintendo Switch. Along with a new set of songs to get the party started, there’s also a new Career Mode that will have you taking your character from its humble beginnings all the way to superstardom. You can also join the Let’s Sing Fest and test your skills online against players from around the world or enjoy the local multiplayer for up to four players. Let’s Sing 2024 is out on Nintendo Switch with a $39.99 asking price.
And if you want to add even more songs for your entertainment, you can check out the Let’s Sing VIP Pass, which is available in one of three options: 30 days, 90 days, or 365 days – you know, for a full year. The 30-day VIP Pass is included with your purchase so that you can take the service for a spin. If you want to add another 30-day VIP Pass, it will cost you $3.99. The 90-day VIP Pass costs $9.99. As for the 365-day VIP Pass, that one has a price tag of $24.99, so if you’re going to be using the service a lot, it makes sense for you to go all in and get a 365-day subscription. For the duration of the pass you choose, you’ll be able to check out an ever-growing catalog of songs, which include Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me by Culture Club, Heart of Glass by Blondie, Royals by Lorde, and Take on Me by a-ha. There are close to 50 songs available right now, thanks to the VIP Pass, and that’s a number that will only increase down the road.
