Cat and Ghostly Road from Sometimes You and BOV is an atmospheric point and click on PlayStation 5. Your journey begins as a white cat who is out in the snow and is having a rough time. After almost being frozen to death, you’re saved by an old man who nurses you back to health. Unfortunately, three months later, ghosts and demons steal the old man’s spirit, and it’s now up to you to find a way into their world in order to rescue his spirit and pay him back for saving you.

You’ll learn all of the basics during the first proper gameplay segment. You can move your character with the left analog stick. Since this one is a point and click adventure game, you’ll be controlling a cursor with the right analog stick as you interact with objects or characters by pressing the X button. Any items that you collect will be added to your inventory, which you can open up either by clicking on it with the cursor or by pressing the Triangle button. You’ll have to use items to solve puzzles, and you’ll sometimes have to combine items. This is done by selecting them sequentially. The cat can see monsters and demons by pressing the Square button. It can also help it spot objects of a mythical nature.

To give you an idea of what you’ll be doing in the game, allow me to discuss the first objective you need to complete. You’ll be asked to plant a cherry tree. To get this done, you’ll have to grab the young seedling of a cherry tree and a hoe to cultivate the soil. Since plants need water to grow, you’ll have to grab some from the nearby pond using a bucket. Collect the bucket, open up your inventory, select it, and then interact with the pond to fill it up.

Trophy-wise, this one has a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy for you to work on. The list has 8 Bronze trophies, 4 Silver trophies, and 9 Gold trophies. The trophies will pop as you progress through the game, solve the puzzles you’ll find, and complete the few mini-games you’ll run into. It’s not a hard thing to do, but if you need some extra help, you can check out this Cat and Ghostly Road Trophy Guide.
