Sakura Succubus 7 Review - 1

Visual novel sequel Sakura Succubus 7 from Gamuzumi and Winged Cloud is ready for you on PlayStation. With the number 7 being right there, that means there are another 6 visual novels in this series. While playing them before going into Sakura Succubus 7 would help you learn more about each of the characters, this is a standalone story that you can enjoy without having previously gone through 6 other visual novels on PlayStation consoles.

For this new journey, things start on a normal note. The main character, Hiroki, decides it would be a good idea to take Astorian Princess Stephania and her entourage on a personal tour of Tokyo. What could possibly go wrong? As has been the case for other games in this series, someone is mysteriously smitten by Hiroki, bordering on a dangerous infatuation. What will happen next? You’ll have to play Sakura Succubus 7 to find out!

And now, it’s time to talk about the trophies! Sakura Succubus 7 has a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy, and since this one is a Cross-Buy release, if you own a PlayStation 5 console, you can download both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, and each one will have its own trophy list for you to work on. Said list has 10 Bronze trophies and 3 Silver trophies. You’ll get a chunk of them for going through the story from start to finish, with the rest being related to the other ending you can get, as well as a couple of specific choices you need to make along the way. If you want some extra help, you can check out this Sakura Succubus 7 Trophy Guide.

Sakura Succubus 7 Review - 4

After what Hiroki has gone through over the previous 6 games in the series, drama happening in Sakura Succubus 7 – along with some fan service here and there – should not be a surprise. Will he end up finding love along the way? Or will he finally be torn to pieces by his own delusions? This one is also Rated M for Mature, so do know it’s not going to be an adventure that everyone can enjoy. Your $9.99 purchase will allow you to download both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions of the game at no extra cost.
