Richman 11 from eastasiasoft, CMGE, and Softstar is a colorful board game party experience on PlayStation 5. It’s a game that will feel familiar to fans of Monopoly since you’ll be rolling dice to move over the board as you try to use your money wisely to purchase properties and try to make your opponents go broke. As its name suggests, it’s the 11th entry in this franchise, so there’s certainly a fan base for these games! Richman 10 was released for PlayStation 4 back in 2022, so this is not the first time we get a taste of this series on PlayStation.

Richman 11 Review - 1

There’s the Classic Mode, which has you taking on the main board game setting as you try to beat your opponents. You will need to make more money than your opponents or win all of their money. Be sure to buy a lot of real estate so that you can try and get your opponents to land on them so that you can earn some extra money. You can tell which spots are yours by looking at the blue color all over the place. The more real estate on each street under your control, the higher the fee you’ll be able to obtain since it’s all collected at once! Step on your own real estate again, and you’ll be able to build a house to level up and increase the fee you charge. You can boost a building up to level 5.

And then we have Brawl Mode, in which you’ll quite literally work on beating your opponents by fighting to try and make them go bankrupt. By using cards to attack them with, say, a large rocket, you can chip away at their funds. The more cards that you have under your command, the easier it will be to set up traps for your opponents to step on or use cards to directly attack them. How fast can you defeat them to become the ultimate winner?

There are many different characters for you to play as, and each one will have some special abilities for you to consider. Some examples include Xiaomei, a lovely and adorable girl who deals extra damage to opponents from rentals and explosions. October is an elder individual who enjoys farming. He’s resilient, which is why he will take 20% less damage from rentals and explosions. This means that if Xiaomei were to deal damage to October, her bonus would effectively be negated! Another character is Princess Sarah, a regal and bossy girl who is immune to the effects of the God of Misfortune and the God of Poverty.

Trophy-wise, this one has a full trophy list with a Platinum waiting to be added to your collection. And since it’s an eastasiasoft game, you can download both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game, and each one will have a separate trophy list. Each list will be split into a single Silver trophy and 11 Gold trophies for you to work on. You’ll have to win a game as Xiaomei, win a game as Baby King, and win a game as Ninja. You also need to win the Buried by Volcanoes map, The City of Music map, and the Snow Country map. On top of that, you must use the teleport ability once, use the banana peel card three times, use the properties raider card three times, use the robot doll card three times, win a game in the Challenge Game option, and play an online game.
