Sequel Super Jagger Bomb 2: Go East from eastasiasoft and CheapeeSoft Games is here to give us more bomb-defusing action on PlayStation 5. For this new adventure, the deadly bombs have been placed at landmarks and monuments across the globe, which will take you on a globetrotting journey as the titular Super Jagger so that you can give it your all to save these important international treasures before they’re completely destroyed! Collect bombs as they are ignited so that you can boost how many points you receive for subsequent bombs you defuse.

 

The controls for this sequel remain the same as things were for the previous game. You’ll take control of Jagger by using the left analog stick or the D-Pad while jumping by pressing the X button to collect all bombs before they go boom. You can extend the height of your jump depending on how long you press and hold down the button. If you press the X button after a jump, you’ll have a chance to hover for a little bit. Pressing the down direction on the left analog stick or the D-Pad will make your character fall quickly to the ground, which will be needed for some of the time-based challenges.

As was the case for its prequel, this game has a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy to try adding to your collection. And since this is a Cross-Buy release, you can download both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game to your PS5 console and try to add two shiny Platinum to your total. Each trophy list is split into 14 Bronze trophies, 9 Silver trophies, and 6 Gold trophies for you to work on. Some of the things you’ll have to do for this Platinum include getting an x2, x3, x4, and x5 bonus, getting 500,000 points in a bonus round, collecting all ignited bombs in a round, finishing a round in half the time, collecting 5, 20, and 50 coins, and beating rounds 5, 10, 20, 40, as well as all rounds. While the first game offered an easy Platinum run, the sequel has considerably ramped up the difficulty.
