Conquistadorio from Upscale Studio and Morion Studio is a new hand-drawn point and click adventure game on Nintendo Switch. You’ll be placed in the role of an undead Conquistador who is cast from the comfy coffin that was ready to provide you with a nice eternal rest. It’s now up to you to find a way to get to your final resting place before it’s too late! It’s a journey that will feature no dialogue, with everything being told through non-verbal storytelling.

Since this is a point and click game, you’ll move a cursor around the screen by using the left analog stick as you press the A button to interact with objects and characters as needed. The items that you collect will be added to your inventory, which is located at the top of the screen. You can move the cursor over an item in your inventory and press the X button to show its details. To use them, move the cursor over an item, press and hold down the A button, and then drag it to where you want to use it. You can also combine items, so be sure to give this a try!
If you’re stuck, you can use the ? on the right side of the screen to activate a super hint. This will provide you with a step-by-step guide for completing the current puzzle. Do know that you’ll have to complete a short mini-game for this! If you want a smaller hint, you can click on the star, and a flashing dot will appear over an active object on the screen. You’ll know you’ve managed to complete all objectives for a level because the lock on the right side of the screen will be unlocked. Oh, and you’ll be able to zoom in and out by pressing the R and L buttons, respectively, so that you can get a better look at everything.

This one features an in-game achievement system for you to work on. Most of the achievements are awarded for progressing through the game’s story as you solve this or that puzzle, so I won’t be discussing them here, so as not to spoil things. I will warn you that using the hint system will lock you out of the one achievement that is not story-related.
