Wobbly Life from RubberBandGames and Curve Games has finally landed on Nintendo Switch, along with the space update. For this one, it turns out that Grandma has kicked you out into the big, wide Wobbly world and is demanding that you go and get a job ASAP! It’s time for you to earn some money so that you can give it your all and get to experience your best Wobbly Life. This one is an open-world sandbox game in which you’ll be working on completing 100+ missions and jobs as you unlock more and more rewards.

Wobbly Life Review - 1

There are plenty of things for you to do, including driving more than 90 vehicles. And if you want to customize your character, you’ll be given the chance to show off more than 500 clothing items you’ll unlock along the way. You can purchase new hats, tops, and pants for your character by visiting the fine establishments near you. The game can be played on your own, or you can take advantage of the local split screen or play online with someone else. Do know that you’ll need to have a current Nintendo Switch Online subscription to be able to play Wobbly Life online.

Once you’re ready to begin, you’ll be taking control of your character by using the left analog stick, as you use the right analog stick to move the camera around as needed. You can jump by pressing the B button, and interact with objects or other characters by pressing the X button. Press the ZL and ZR buttons to grab with your left and right arms, respectively. Press down on the D-Pad to open up the emote wheel so that you can, well, emote.

Press the – button to open up your map. That way, you can check the to-do list by pressing the Y button so that you can review the tasks you need to work on. These are split into small tasks, big tasks, other tasks, and completed tasks. Oh, and you can ragdoll by pressing the Y button. Once you get inside a vehicle, you’ll be able to steer it by using the left analog stick and accelerate by using the ZR button. Pressing in on the left analog stick will allow you to honk. You can use the handbrake by pressing the B button. Boost your vehicle by pressing the A button. You can also look left and right by, as expected, using the L and R buttons.

You’ll need to find new jobs, work on completing said jobs, and then be handsomely rewarded based on your efforts. Your first job will be an easy one, since you’ll only need to go and get some jelly. For this, you’ll be asked to visit the Wobbly Mall. Once there, you’ll grab some jelly and put it in the trunk of a car, so that you can drive back home and deliver the jelly. Just be careful when driving back so that you don’t crash into anything… or go crazy and destroy as many fences as possible while rushing back.

When you complete a job, you’ll get some money, and you will need to deposit it at the ATM to add it to your total. You’ll also be rewarded with one of the hundreds of different outfits that you can have in your collection. If you want to change outfits, all you need to do is interact with the wardrobe and grab something new. You can use the money you earn to purchase clothes, pets, and more. Earn enough money, and you could even end up buying your very own house! You can then use the house as a spawn point, spawn your personal vehicle, change your clothes, and leave your pet at home.
