FlipCat from FA Games is a 2D single-player pixel art platformer that uses a perspective-flipping gameplay mechanic. You’ll be placed in the role of a white cat who wears a very colorful purple shirt, and will need to explore each level as you use the blocks at the edges of the screen to rotate the level 90 degrees at a time. You’ll have to avoid the always classic sharp spikes that can destroy you with a single hit, as you push barrels to use as platforms, climb ladders, activate switches that will remove colored blocks of their matching color, go through portals, jump on trampolines, and more.

 

You’ll be taking control of your character by using the left analog stick or the D-Pad as you jump by pressing the X button. You’ll run into blocks with arrows that you can hit to change the perspective of the level, so that you can carry onward to the exit. Locate and collect the key to open the exit door, and be ready to do it all over again for the rest of the levels.

And now, let’s talk about the game’s trophies! This release features a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy waiting for you. The list is a short one that has 11 Gold trophies for you to work on. What will you need to do for that shiny Platinum trophy? The list is very straightforward, with trophies popping at a steady pace as you complete levels 1, 4, 5, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 29, and 30. This means that you’ll need to complete all levels in the game to get the Platinum trophy.
