Berry Bury Berry from Black Lantern Collective and Get(Color) Games is a bizarre first-person game in which you grow berries and toss them down an ominous hole. You’ll start by collecting blueberries and throwing them down the hole, trying to make it grow larger and larger so that you can launch fruit from further away so that you end up earning more coins each day. Lather, rinse, repeat. While you can try to do all of this on your own, hiring berry buddies is a good option so that there are other creatures joining you… especially when the sun goes out.

Once the VHS tape starts to play, you’ll be moving around by using the left analog stick as you use the right analog stick to move the camera around. Jump by pressing the B button, and press and hold down the L button to sprint. Press the ZL button to pick up berries and objects, and then press the ZR button to throw them. You can also press the A button to drop them. As you drop berries into the hole, you’ll be rewarded with coins. Collect them so that when night strikes, you can bank your earnings and try to get some sleep. Emphasis on try.

You can use the coins you collect to unlock upgrades and power-ups to speed up the gameplay loop. What can you get with your hard-earned money? You can get a sledgehammer for smashing stuff, add a chance for a golden berry to pop, upgrade the plant to a bush so that it grows 3 berries instead of one, unlock the berry fountain ability that significantly increases the hole size and launches all berries toward it, increase the length of the day, get a vacuum to suck up and shoot out multiple berries, or the trampoline, which you can use to bounce things toward the hole.
