The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline from Entalto Publishing and ONE O ONE GAMES is a first-person psychological mystery thriller on PlayStation 5. It seems that every 33 years, the barrier between our reality and Hell fades away for a moment. In order for you to be able to protect your family – as well as the world around you – you will need to work on performing the Ritual by returning to your ancestral home and accepting the destiny you’ve tried to escape from. Your name is Gabriele Alighieri, and you’re a descendant of the famous poet and writer, Dante Alighieri. You know, he of the Divine Comedy.

As you take on a journey that serves as a modern interpretation of the Divine Comedy, you’ll need to try to keep the Inferno from engulfing you with its darkness. You will need to search for and reunite the lost magical pages of the Divine Comedy so that you can perform the Ritual and once again close the gates of Hell for another 33 years. You’ll have to make your way through the silent Villa of your ancestors, as well as enter the Dive, the threshold that will give you a taste of the depths of Hell.
As mentioned before, this one is played from a first-person perspective, and that means you’ll be taking control of your character by using the left analog stick, as you use the right analog stick to look around you as needed. Sprint by pressing in on the left analog stick. Crouch by pressing in on the right analog stick. You can interact with objects, points of interest, or other characters by pressing the X button. Press the Touchpad on the DualSense controller to open up your map.

While exploring the mansion, you’ll get to learn more about the events that took place there. Gabrielle will talk about each section of the Villa as he remembers his childhood. And if you find the missing pages of the missing pages of the diary, you’ll get even more insight into what has happened, as well as get one more trophy for your count.
Trophy-wise, this one features a full trophy list with a Platinum trophy waiting for you. The list is split into 2 Bronze trophies, 6 Silver trophies, and 9 Gold trophies for you to work on. What will you need to do in order to add this shiny Platinum trophy to your collection? Along with the trophies that will pop as you progress through the game’s story chapters, there are also trophies for recovering all of Gabrielle’s memories, locating all of the diary pages, and completing each of the trials you’ll be faced with, to name some examples.
