I am lawyer, hear me roar! EdEN here, Resident Nintendo Nutjob extraordinaire and owner of Sony products around his place. Started to get my gaming fix back in the day thanks to the awesomeness of Pong Home Consoles (one game only… and we liked it!) before moving on to the Atari 2600 for a couple of years and then graduating to the NES and never looking back. What consoles and portables do I own you say? Here, let me tell you them! I’ve got an Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, PSX, PSX Slim, Dreamcast, GC, PS2, PS2 Slim, 2 Wii and a PS3 on the console front and a GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, GB Micro, DS, DS Lite, DSi and PSP 3000 on the portable side of gaming. 900 games strong and counting with a backlog of over 100!

I believe in giving every game a fighting chance and try to keep a lot of variety in the list of games I review or that I play just for fun (without a deadline!) and know that having other consoles options is great for the gaming industry as competition always bring the best in people (just ask all Olympic athletes).

I work hard for my money (so you better treat me right!). What do I spend that money on? The usual: food, clothes, cosmic cubes, clothing, gas, miniature tyrannic overlords, electricity and lots of hobbies. Comic books, DVDs and Blurays (new technology is always welcome) mostly, as well as lots of figurines and statues and original comic pages acquired during the yearly pilgrimage to the doors of the San Diego Comic Con to leave my offering of $5,000 in several $20, $50 and $100 bills all tied with a blood red bow to please the gods. Running out of space at my place so I think I’ll have to get rid of most of our furniture to make room for all my essential purchases in the years to come!

On July 2014, I took over as owner of PS3blog.net along with Ceidz.

Hi PS3Blog.net readers! I’m Ceidz.

I’ve lived as a gamer for as long as I can remember. Back in the days, I owned an NES and a SNES, and I remember being captivated by several games, especially JRPGs such as Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger, which are (still to this day), my two favorite games of all time!

I’m now in my early 30s, and I’m happily married to a lovely wife and have 4 wonderful daughters (including twins). I work in web development, and I’m a HUGE PlayStation fan. I owned every PlayStation console since the PS1!

I’ve been following PS3Blog.net for a very long time, and I’ve been writing for it for a few years now. Being the die-hard JRPG fan that I am, you can expect heavy coverage for that type of game, as well as previews and reviews on all other genres.

In July 2014, I became the owner of PS3blog.net along with EdEN.

Hi, Clint here. I’ve been a gamer, basically, all my life. I’ve played on many of the older consoles but the first one I actually owned (as a hand-me-down) was the NES. From there it went to the original, fat, Gameboy. And in the mid-90’s I got the original PlayStation. That was when I really got into gaming as a kid. However it wasn’t until ’98 when I saw the case for Metal Gear Solid and decided “hmmm I guess this looks interesting” and once I started playing I was hooked into the story. That really opened my eyes to the media I had enjoyed for so many years.

Since then I’ve stuck with mainly Sony consoles. Primarily because it’s what I had growing up and I loved the controller. I don’t consider myself a fanboy as I can see and recognize a good game on another console.

I originally found this site through their Facebook page. I found it to be a great way to get gaming news years ago. While it might not be as big as the mainstream news sites such as IGN, I very much enjoy reading the reviews, news articles and opinions from other people who enjoy gaming as much as I do. Since they’re doing it on their own time, and not as a job, it gives everything a much more personal touch.

Hiya, I’m Oly. I am a 36 yo Chiropractor in San Diego, CA. I’ve been married for 14 years to a very understanding and loving wife. I am also a father of 1 boy age 13, and three girls ages 12, 8, and 3. I am an avid collector of comics, as well as action figures. I also seem to be collecting PS3 games these days. I have practiced martial arts all my life, and hold a black belt in Kali and Escrima, and have a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have also studied many other styles.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember, first playing Pong on a little black and white TV. I also spent many hours playing text based games like Zork back in the day. I have owned nearly all the gaming consoles ever released, with the exception of the Xbox consoles, however I consider myself a true PlayStation fanboy these days. It’s hard to choose a favorite game for me because I play and like so many different ones, although my favorite genres would have to be action/adventure, FPS games, RPG, and any co-op or multiplayer game I can spend time playing with my family.

Hello everyone!

My name is Nathan. I have been a regular on PS3blog.net and PS4blog.net for quite a few years now, and I decided to start posting news and writing reviews in 2013.

My first console was the NES with Super Mario Bros 3. Since then I’ve been bitten by the video game bug, thus owning tons of systems including all of the PlayStation consoles and handhelds, all the Nintendo consoles, and the Dreamcast.

I’m a huge fan of most game genres and will play almost anything, but I do have some extra love JRPG’s, platformers, and action games.

I’m currently rocking the PS4, Wii U, PS3, and Vita, which gives me access to a large variety of great games.

I live in London Ontario and have a wife with two kids and one on the way. I work in retail management and love my job. My oldest is just starting to get into gaming, and that is definitely fun to watch.

Hello, lovely readers! I’m Tracey, and I am from Cumbria in the UK.

Thanks to my older brother, I got into gaming with the ZX Spectrum (yes, I really am that old!). My very first game was Attic Attack, a classic close to my heart! I then moved on to Commodore 64, and since SEGA was born not long after that, my older brother became a SEGA fanboy owning all consoles except the Dreamcast.

Unfortunately, his SEGA consoles were off limits to me, but that didn’t stop me from stealing precious moments behind his back playing classics such as OutRun, Sonic The Hedgehog, Kid Chameleon and Alex Kidd!

I have also owned an Atari 2600, SNES, N64, GameCube. In 2005 I went back into gaming full-time and never looked back since! I am the proud owner of the PS3, PS4, Wii U, 3DS, Xbox One and PS Vita. I am somewhat of a PS4, Wii U and 3DS fangirl these days!

I love RPGs, JRPGs, Point and Click, and Puzzle games. As for sports games, I do like tennis, baseball, and pool (yes, pool is a sport!).

I started writing for the PS3/PS4 blogs back in March 2015, and I have been having a blast ever since!

Hi everyone, I’m ThaRaven403.

I started posting here in July 2017, after telling my Ceidz, my real-life friend of over 20 years, how cool it would be to review games. Now here I am now, on board with the team and ready for more, but my gaming history goes way back to those two years! I actually started playing on the Intellivision when I was five years old, so I’ve got a bit more than 30 years of experience as a gamer! I then moved on to the NES briefly before becoming a Sega kid with the Genesis and the Saturn. After that, I jumped on the Sony bandwagon with the PS1, and have been a Sony fan ever since!

I play a wide range of game genres, and I couldn’t really tell if I have one favorite genre over another – I love variety! The only two that stand above the rest for me are the God of War and the Suikoden series, and for that one, in particular, I’m really hoping for a revival!

On a personal note, games gave me the motivation to study in computer sciences (with Ceidz!), and I’m now a passionate web developer that codes and co-host a YouTube channel about good programming practices. When I’m not working or playing games, I spend my time being a superhero dad to my two daughters, and as good of a husband as I can be to my wife!

I’ve been a PlayStation fan since I first got my hands on the original system as a kid. Before that, we’ve had a Genesis for years. First PS1 game I had ever played was Jeremy McGrath Supercross ’98, so I hadn’t had it since launch, but I have been a Sony fan since we got it that Christmas.

Back in High School, I was in the newspaper class and wrote a lot of editorials and news articles, so I did have some experience in that department. As far as this blog goes, I’ve been a long time reader. I started visiting back in April of 2006, but I was always posting comments as a guest, since member creation was disabled for a while. At that time, I used different variations of my first name, until I started using JimmyMagnum, my PSN ID, in March 2009.

At the time, this was the site that had the most (useful) PS3 news I could find. It has always been that way, and once they started allowing regular members to start submitting news and all that, I jumped aboard and have been submitting articles since, usually only the stuff I feel are worthy news pieces. I soon got instant posting permissions a little after I started the Weekly Recap, which I have been doing every week since July of 2009.

Because of my writing background, my posts can be quite long, so you might be able to call that a trademark 😛 . I’m an owner of all 3 major consoles, so I wouldn’t consider myself a fanboy, but some of my views are borderline fanboyism because I have a deep love for Sony’s consoles. My favorite games are ones with a good story, but not too long, so I’m not big on RPG’s. My favorite genres would have to be racing, action and adventure, though, as a lot of my favorite series include God of War, Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport (XBox) and Metal Gear Solid, but I also enjoy games like LittleBigPlanet and Buzz!

YAR! This is Ed, a long time PS3blog.net fan, huge gamer and one of the newest recruits as a co-writer here. I’m a 30 year old family man with a 2 year old son and I plan on enriching him with video game culture, gadgets and technology just as I was from the Atari 2600 days.

I’m a huge JRPG fan so Final Fantasy fans will be pleased with much of my news coverage, but I enjoy several different genres of gaming.

I am an owner of all consoles but spend the majority of my time with my PS3 and PSP. Sony has always delivered the experience that I crave as a gamer and that hasn’t stopped! At the PS2 launch, I waited 14 hours in line at a local Wal-Mart (shoe section) in Maryland. I was 7th in line, had pizza delivered and got a police escort to my car and would do it again in a heart beat!

Hi all! I’m Sakinah.

I’m a proud Playstation fangirl since I got a PS1 all those years ago. I’ve been following PS3Blog.net since the announcement of the PS3. My hobbies are drawing webcomics, playing video games, and blogging. I live in the state of Alabama with the rest of my family where we had 3? of snow this past February!

My favorite gaming genres are 3D Fighters, RPGs, Action/Adventure, Platformers, and Rhythm. When I say rhythm I only mean RockBand. I like some anime/manga, but I hate the Naruto series.

I’m Trevor, I work in television news and am contributing to PS3blog.net in my own spare time. I’m currently located in London, UK but I’ve also lived in the USA and NZ. I spend my time blogging, shooting films and taking photos. I’m all about video games, music, film, and some sports. Ok so I’m interested in other things like bats, robots and pizza but those are my main interests.

I’ve been an avid gamer since the early nineties starting out with the Sega Mega Drive but then switching to Sony’s Playstation and its successors. My personal preference of game types are FPS, Action/Adventure, Sports, Driving, RPG and Beat ‘em Ups. I hate Guitar Hero and most rhythm games apart from PaRappa the Rapper. That dog was awesome.

In early 2006, I felt like there was a real lack of quality coverage for PS2/PS3 software. Most of the video game bloggers were Xbox/PC focused and there was much less coverage of PlayStation (and Nintendo) based titles. I felt I could do better than the popular gaming blogs of the time, so I volunteered on this site.

Today, I feel like this site is somewhat less necessary now that Sony has gotten the hang of their official blog and the major gaming sites have become much better at covering PlayStation content, but it’s still fun to contribute.

BTW, I’m an adult in my 30’s working as a enterprise programmer and doing this for fun to blow off steam.

Hey there! Welcome to our PS3 corner of the universe. I am the creator and primary contributor to PS3Blog.net, but without the other writers here, PS3Blog.net would be a lot more boring! They have a lot of expertise I don’t have, so PS3Blog.net benefits from their experience immensely. But enough about them (you can read more below), what about me!?! I am a software developer, but that’s my day job. When I’m not at work, or at home enjoying my family, I also enjoy my hobbies which include video games, board games, HDTV, science fiction, and other stuff too.

I was one of the first people I know to get a PS2. (I had to hunt for a PS2 all over town near launch, finally finding one at a Zellers.) It still works perfectly to this day, and I haven’t had a single problem with it. I usually don’t play single player games, but I do a lot of multiplayer gaming with my friends. Now I’m one of the first people in the world to have bought a PS3, and that’s what this blog is all about. But every so often I talk about the Xbox 360 or the Wii as well, just because sometimes there’s interesting news there or they’re doing cool stuff that I wish the PS3 would do too.

Hi, I’m Gary, I’ve been a contributor to this site since before the PS3 was released, way back in the old old days! Although I don’t write as much as I used to, I’m still interested in all things PS3 and gaming related. I started gaming when I was around 8 years old (some 22 years ago), on the Commodore 64, I then went on to own a SEGA Master System, SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis), PSOne, PS2, PSP, GameCube and a PS3, which I bought two days after launch in the UK.

Outside of gaming, I was awarded my black belt in Aug 2008. It’s a little hard to describe what the Martial Art is called as it isn’t a traditional MA in the classical sense but I train in submission grappling aswell as training in some elements of Muay Thai Boxing and Self Defence. I’ve also done some very limited training in Eskrima and Wing Chun but it’s fair to say that grappling and Muay Thai are my two favorites.

I recently relocated to Melbourne, Australia from the UK in Nov 2009 so I’ll be sharing my thoughts on how the two countries differ when it comes to gaming in the near future…
