We can’t deny that E3 this year is and has been all about the next-gen consoles. However, we shouldn’t overlook the fact that the PS3 is still going strong and will be getting more love for a few years to come.
Accessories 4 Technology, whom own the well-known UK based PS3 accessories brand 4Gamers; and of course are an Official PlayStation accessories developer, will be making a huge announcement at E3. One point to note though is that the announcment is geared towards a more younger generation of gamer. As a parent, I think that this announcement is massive! My daughter is 6 (going on 7), and she loves gaming. Throw on a copy of LittleBigPlanet Karting, Hamsterball, Wonderbook, or PS Move’s Start The Party on and she’ll be hooked on it for hours – of course, as a parent I have to limit the amount of time she spends on our beloved console for many reasons.
So, back to A4T. We all love to play games, especially the younger generation – and this is where Accessories 4 Technology comes in. They have developed some awesome PS3 accessories which are aimed at young gamers. This new range is going to be called KidzPLAY.
Sony Computer Entertainment UK has today revealed details of a search for PlayStation’s next intern – sure to be sought-after by anyone looking to gain experience in the gaming industry. The month-long position, hosted by Swedish Studio Tarsier, will be awarded to the applicant who can create the best mini-game using upcoming PlayStation Vita title, LittleBigPlanet™.
Sackboy’s first PS Vita adventure will be let loose on September 19th. Once the game is launched, would-be interns will have one month to get to grips with the all-new minigame creation feature and submit their efforts for consideration.
To test and review each entry, PlayStation has assembled a crack team of portable gaming aficionados from across Europe. These PlayStation Judges will put each minigame through its paces before selecting a top five from each country. The final decision will then be handed over to the team at Tarsier – the studio behind LittleBigPlanet™ (PlayStation Vita) to choose the overall winner. Submissions will be judged on gameplay, originality, and commercial appeal.
It was a question asked by many a Playstation fan, can we get PlayStation Vitas in different colors? Well Sony has now answered that for you by revealing two colors of their new PlayStation Vita product line-up.
The colors, which are referred to as Cosmic Blue and Sapphire Red, are the latest additions to their vastly growing PlayStation range. If you’ve been keeping an eye on the Tokyo Game Show, you’ll already know that Sony has already revealed their latest and slimmest PlayStation models – which are due to go on sale at the end of this month.
The technical specification of both colored Vitas hasn’t changed at all, as both models are exactly the same spec as the original PlayStation Vita, which was launched back in February of this year.
The new colored models are due to go on sale in Japan around November 15th.

It’s been just a little over 3 months since Battlefield 3 Premium was released to the public and although it was widely accepted by majority of the gaming community, the subscription package still had a fair bit of convincing to do in order to ensure it’s success.
Now, 3 months and 3 DLCs down the line, Battlefield Premium is reaping rewards and praise from Battlefield gamers everywhere. To date, we have seen the likes of the Back to Karkand, Close Quarters and the recent Armored Kill map packs being unleashed, with a further 2 more DLC packs (Aftermath and End Game) heading your way over the next 6 months or so.
Today, I’m going to focus on the latest DLC pack, currently released to Battlefield Premium players – Armored Kill.

Gamers are always looking to enhance the way they play games, whether it be on their PC with multiple screens or on their consoles, using state-of-the-art wireless gaming headsets. If you’re an avid gamer like me then you’ve probably at somepoint during your gaming life considered buying a gaming chair.
I have now had the pleasure of playing with the latest gaming chair on the retail market – the 4Gamers Interactive Gaming Chair.
I first had the opportunity to test out a prototype of the 4Gamers Interactive Gaming Chair during my visit to their offices back in January 2012. Needless to say, I was impressed. A few months down the line, back in July, I was offered another opportunity to play with the Interactive Gaming Chair, I just couldn’t turn an opportunity like this down. After spending some quality time with this newly launched product, I have collected my thoughts below on whether it really is something special.
The chair itself is packed full of technological goodness. Before we look into detailed specifications, here’s the lowdown on what you’re expecting from the gaming worlds newest arrival:
– Quad Motor Vibration System (QMVS)
– Built in 2.1 stereo speaker and sub-woofer system
