As expected Konami does it big again with another great launch event. They really know how to pamper their loyal supporters. As we were all treated with an open bar and food. This Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Launch Event was held at the Hard Rock Cafe City Walk in Los Angeles. A big thank you to all Konami staff and BM for their generosity.

A Cut Above the Rest [PS3 Review] Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
February 19, 2013 | PAUL FIERCE | 9 CommentsMetal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a very innovative, engrossing, spellbinding, and controversial title. If there is one word I can use to sum up the experience of playing MGR, it would be perplexed. The game was almost canned by Kojima Productions due to difficulties with the story line and production direction, however, Platinum Games, well known for titles such as Bayonetta, Vanquish, and most recently Anarchy Reigns, were handed the reigns to steer this title in a new direction. This was a decision that was downright risky given the nature of the game and also its main character, Raiden.
Check out this suit/gameplay trailer and then read my review after the jump!

Spike’s Video Game Awards 2012 “VGA 10” Event Photos plus Metal Gear 25th Anniversary After Party
December 19, 2012 | PAUL FIERCE | 10 CommentsFor some odd reason, Metal Gear’s 25th Anniversary celebrations are still going on. Spike’s VGA 10 after party was actually the after party for the awards show coupled with MG 25th anniversary. Yes it’s strange as Konami already threw a party for them at PAX PRIME Seattle which I attended as well.
In any case, the event was filled with surprises. Oly and I met great people among the industry and got to party with the whole Konami crew. As expected, the awards show was long and once again over produced. Never the less, we still had a great time! Here are the pictures!
