Rodea The Sky Soldier is an exclusive release for Nintendo platforms. The game is a platformer with a pure focus on flight. I previously reviewed Rodea the Sky Soldier on Wii U and now it’s time to do the same for the 3D version. The game is almost identical on both platforms, and the only two main differences are on the graphics and controls .
Toki Tori has been released on many platforms over the years, giving new life to this classic. The original version released on Nintendo’s GameBoy Color back in 2001, and it was inspired by Eggbert, a game released in 1994 for the MSX 2. Toki Tori was later ported to Nintendo’s Wii on Wiiware, giving it a whole new look and feel before eventually making its way to PlayStation platforms. It’s arrival on the Nintendo 3DS is set at a budget price of $1,99 / €1,99, which makes this a puzzle game that all 3DS owners should get. Now let’s get started with the review!
Rodea the Sky Soldier is an exclusive title for Nintendo platforms. The game is about a robot called Rodea who wakes up after sleeping for centuries. Unfortunately, he has absolutely no memory of his past! He pairs up with a clever young mechanic called Ion who fixed him up, and together they travel the floating isles clearing out the evil robots along the way. Rodea is not totally soulless since he does have a heart, so he is a plucky little guy with feelings!
