Crytek Calls out IGN

I’m sure most of you saw that IGN bashed the PS3 version of Crysis 2. I’m not going to link to the article because they obviously played the fan boy card for hits. Executive Producer Nathan Camarillo put the article to rest during an interview with Jeff Rubenstein of the PlayStation Blog.

I’ve gone on the record saying that if you stick PS3 and 360 side by side I would challenge anyone to find any meaningful difference. I don’t see it at all.

Seeming as there is a lack of content on the PlayStation 3 version of Crysis 2 and some articles claiming it is not up to snuff, I thought we could put that to rest with some in game PS3 Screens. I tried to get you some Multilayer screens including Character menu’s and general menu screens as well. Crysis 2 Leaked!

Seems like someone at EA or Crytek got a little ahead of themselves and released a build of the game onto the interwebs. The game is due for release on March 22nd but according to EA, “Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2”. They both seemed to be pretty disappointed by the news and encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting for the final product.

I am not sure how much this is really going to hurt the sales. It’s been said by the ones that have downloaded the game that it’s buggy and broken even though it’s the full game. Check out the game in multiplayer sweetness after the jump and tell me you would still prefer some broken piece of crap.
