[PS4 Review] Flame Over

Flame Over finally arrives on PS4, and right from the start I can tell you this is not a straight up port from the PlayStation Vita release we’ve enjoyed before. The home console release for Flame Over kicks things off by including two new tutorial rooms that you can play to your heart’s content to practice your firefighting skills before trying out the real thing. ON top of that, there are now hidden collectible coins and the loading times are almost completely gone. There’s more stuff that is new to the PS4 version, but first let me talk a bit more about the game itself.

OMG HD Zombies is a part of the drive to “re-VITA-lise†(see what they did there?) old PSP minis releases for the new(ish) Vita generation. Previous games in this drive have included Coconut dodge, Floating Cloud God and Rotating Octopus. The latest game to join this elite group of HD remakes is OMG-Z (originally released in 2011), and OMG HD Zombies tries to improve on an already unique experience by adding a plethora of content but… can it succeed?

It sucks when you’re hungry. Sometimes you just want to bury your face into a burger, or tear into a taco. Out on the African savannah, a Hungry Giraffe feels your pain.
A 20 foot tall, 1200kg animal like the giraffe needs to chow down on tons of food each day, just to stay alive. But, oh no! All the tastiest leaves have been eaten, while up in the sky endless quantities of snacks, fruit and junk food hover just out of reach!
Hungry Giraffe features the world’s largest and hungriest even-toed ungulate. Through skillful steering of his neck, you can propel your half-starved giraffe on his twisty-turny upward journey, chomping on strawberries, fries, sandwiches and naughtier treats.
But beware! The skies are also strewn with hazards. Poison, Anvils and non-prescription Drugs also hover up there, ready to send unwary giraffes plummeting to earth.
